Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a treatment method used to repair and save a severely decayed or infected tooth. During the root canal treatment procedure, the nerve and dental pulp are removed, the inside of the tooth is cleaned and filled. Starting root canal treatment early is important to save the tooth.

Which teeth are treated with root canal treatment?

  1. After a dental filling or crown coating, if there is decay under the filling or if the patient continues to have complaints such as pain and tingling,

  2.  

  3. Root fractures or crown fractures that occur after impacts to the tooth,

  4. Damage to the pulps in the tooth due to bruxism or incorrect chewing habits,

  5. Loss of vitality of the dental pulps due to dental or gum treatments,

  6. Necessary treatments for neighboring teeth that were damaged after wisdom tooth extraction
